Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has arrested a key terrorist of a banned organization during an operation in Jamshoro on Thursday. According to spokesperson, the accused was arrested during a joint operation of CTD Hyderabad and Rangers. The arrested terrorist has been identified as Umar Farooq and he is local commander of banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Swat. A hand grenade was recovered from the arrested terrorist which was being taken to Karachi. The arrested terrorist has also been injured in the encounter with the security forces in Swat, the spokesman said.
