Balochistan shivered due to intense cold weather as mercury in some districts dipped several notches below freezing point. According to meteorological department, increase in intensity of coldness has been witnessed in Quetta valley and surroundings. During past 24 hours, weather in Northern and North-Western districts of province remained cold and dry. Minimum temperature recorded in Quetta was zero degree centigrade while minimum temperature in Qalat was recorded as -3 degree centigrade. Meanwhile, meteorological department has predicted heavy snowfall in Murree and Galiyat.
