Naib Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Liaquat Baloch terming the agreements of federal government with Independent Power Producers (IPPs) has said that his party strongly rejects these agreements. While addressing a press conference in Rawalpindi, he said that the government has failed completely to address the issues faced by the masses including inflation and unemployment Liaquat Baloch said that Pakistan’s economy has come to a standstill and the recent budget was a “document of national destruction”. The government and its allies were ‘oblivious’ to the suffering of the people, the JI leader said pointing to the massive increase in electricity bills, which according to him left the common man disillusioned with their future.
