Authorities seal six shops for violating closing times Breaking

The authorities here on Tuesday sealed six shops for violating government-mandated closing times, as part of an intensified campaign to enforce energy-saving measures.  The official sources said that acting on directives Deputy Commissioner, Sahiwal, Sami Ullah Farooq, the enforcement teams stepped up inspections across the town to ensure compliance with prescribed business hours.

The operation was led by SDEO Para Force , Nauman Qaiser, conducted inspections in multiple areas.  During the operation, a hotel located at Sarwar Chowk, identified as Shinwari Hotel, along with several shops along Midhali Road, were sealed for failing to adhere to the official schedule.  The authorities said the the actions were aimed at promoting efficient energy use and encouraging austerity in line with government policy. 

Speaking on the occasion, Qaiser warned that strict legal action would be taken against the violators, urging the shopkeepers to comply with the regulations.  He also appealed the residents and traders to cooperate in the national interest, emphasizing the need to curb resource wastage and maintain order.
