Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting and PML-N leader Atta Tarar’s victory notification from NA-127 has been challenged in Election Tribunal by PTI-supported independent candidate Zaheer Abbas Khokar. Meanwhile, another PML-N MPA Samiullah’s victory from PP-145 has also been challenged in the Election Tribunal by his rival candidate Muhammad Yasir. The Election Commission of Pakistan, returning officers and concerned elected members have been made parties in the applications filed before Election Tribunal. The Election Tribunal headed by Justice Sultan Tanveer Ahmed of Lahore High Court will hear the applications against the winners.
