An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Islamabad on Friday extended the interim bails granted to PTI leaders in the cases of violation of section 144 and interference in official duty until November 7. Those whose bails were extended included Asad Umar, Senator Faisal Javed and Ali Nawaz Awan. A number of PTI leaders, including former prime minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan, have been granted bails recently in the case of violation of section 144. Only four days ago, on October 24, 2022, an anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Islamabad had granted an interim bail to PTI Chairman Imran Khan in the case of violation of section 144 and interference in the affairs of the state. Imran Khan appeared before the ATC for hearing of the case that had been registered against him two days ago on the charge.
