Arts Council Karachi and Sukkur IBA to host Pakistan Literature FestivalBreaking

Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi and Sukkur IBA University will jointly organize a two-day Pakistan Literature Festival 2023 (Sukkur Chapter) on October 28-29, 2023. The festival will be held at IBA Ground in Sukkur. The announcement was made at a press conference held at Hasina Moin Hall in Arts Council Karachi on Wednesday. The press conference was briefed by President Arts Council Mohammad Ahmad Shah, well-known journalist Ghazi Salahuddin, famous writer Noor Ul Huda Shah, and chairman of Folk and Heritage Committee Dr. Ayub Sheikh.Speaking on the occasion, President Arts Council Muhammad Ahmad Shah said that the festival will bring together federal and provincial ministers, academicians, and literary personalities from all over Pakistan. He said that the festival will feature a variety of events, including panel discussions, book signings, and cultural performances.

 The Pakistan Literature Festival is a flagship event of the Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi. It was first held in 2010 and has since become one of the most important literary events in Pakistan. The festival aims to promote Pakistani literature and culture, and to provide a platform for writers and readers to interact with each other. The Sukkur Chapter of the Pakistan Literature Festival is the first-ever chapter of the festival to be held in Sindh. It is a significant event that will help to promote literary culture in the province.
