In Lahore, an election tribunal on Saturday dismissed an appeal challenging the acceptance of the nomination papers of former prime minister and PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif from NA-132. The tribunal upheld the decision of the returning officer regarding the acceptance of Shehbaz Sharif’s nomination papers from NA 132 and dismissed the appeal. The tribunal comprising Justice Risaal Hasan Syed heard the appeal.
