The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has said that the Kashmiri people are making unparalleled sacrifices to secure their right to self-determination, and that suppression and brutalities cannot force them to give up their just cause. According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas, in a statement issued in Srinagar, thanked the people of Pakistan for observing Kashmir Solidarity Day on February 5 to express unwavering support for the oppressed people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
He said that the international community should intervene to stop the Hindutva agenda and the cruel tactics perpetrated by the Indian BJP government, which uses military and police forces under black laws to suppress the freedom sentiment of the Kashmiri people. The APHC emphasized that the sacrifices made by Kashmiris for their cause would never be allowed to go to waste. The spokesman noted that the Kashmiri people have been making great sacrifices since 1947, and particularly over the past three decades.
He deplored that India was using brutal tactics to suppress the indigenous liberation movement but asserted that India would never succeed in its nefarious designs. The APHC spokesman also pointed out that the Hindutva-led BJP/RSS government in India had realized that the Kashmiri people would never give up their liberation movement.
This is why India revoked Kashmirís special status on August 5, 2019, and imposed a military and police siege to further its agenda of altering the demographic composition of the region. He added that, in violation of UN resolutions that recognize Jammu and Kashmir as a disputed territory, thousands of outsidersóincluding Indian armed forces, bureaucrats, officers, businessmen, Indian Hindus, and non-Kashmiri laborers who married in IIOJKóhad been issued domicile certificates.
