All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter has expressed heartfelt gratitude to Pakistan’s military leadership for its unwavering and steadfast support to the Kashmir freedom movement. Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff, General Syed Asim Munir, speaking at the Margalla Dialogue in Islamabad, described the ongoing atrocities in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir as an extension of the Hindutva ideology. “The resolution of the Kashmir dispute, in accordance with United Nations resolutions and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people, is inevitable,” he asserted.
The APHC-AJK leaders, including Convener Ghulam Mohammad Safi, Mohammad Farooq Rehmani, Mehmood Ahmad Saghar, Syed Faiz Naqshbandi, Shameem Shawl, Muhammad Sultan Butt, Shaikh Mohammad Yaqoob, Zahid Safi and others, in their statements in Islamabad, emphasized that Pakistan’s resolute backing provides immense strength and encouragement to the Kashmiri people, who are enduring Hindutva-driven military repression and cultural invasion. They further noted that Pakistan has once again proven to be the true ambassador and benefactor of the Kashmiris’ just cause.
They hailed the Pakistani army chief’s remarks as a strong reaffirmation of Islamabad’s commitment to the Kashmiri people and a decisive response to the fascist Hindutva regime. This message, they said, will significantly boost the morale of the Kashmiris in their ongoing struggle for freedom. The APHC-AJK also commended Pakistan's diplomatic efforts, which have brought global attention to the Kashmir freedom movement and exposed India’s human rights violations in IIOJK. The Hurriyat leaders concluded with a firm renewal of the Kashmiris’ pledge to continue their struggle for freedom until their rightful goal is achieved.
