The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) seized 833 kilogram drugs and arrested three drug peddlers in seven operations conducted in various cities conducted across the country, the spokesman of ANF Headquarters said on Monday. According to details, a Qatar bound passenger was arrested after recovery of 748 gram Ice at Bacha Khan International Airport Peshawar. During search of a parcel booked for Australia from Rawalpindi cargo office, 400 gram Ice was recovered. During separate operations in Mashakhail and Pishin road Quetta, 460 kg and 319 kg opium were recovered respectively. In an operation at Karachi, 41 kg Ice was recovered from a container. A motorcyclist was held after recovery of 7 kg hashish near the railway gate in Hyderabad. In another operation, 4.8 kg hashish was recovered from the possession of an accused arrested near Sambrial in Sialkot. Separate cases were registered against the detainees under the Anti-Narcotics Act and further investigations were under process.
