The Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) seized 243 kilogram drugs and arrested six drug peddlers in eight operations conducted across country. The spokesman of ANF said on Thursday that operations against drug pushers were conducted in Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Karachi, Chaman, Uthal, Mastung and Jamshoro. During separate actions six drug peddlers were apprehended besides recovery of 163.3 kg hashish, 73 kg opium, 32.4 kg Heroin and 3.5 methamphetamine (Ice Crystal). At least 770 litres hydrochloric acid was also recovered during the actions, the spokesman said. Separate cases were registered against the detainees under Drug Act and further investigations were underway.
