The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) recovered 178 kilogram drugs and arrested three drug pushers during eight operations conducted across the country. A spokesman of ANF Headquarters said on Wednesday that 11 kg Ice was recovered from a parcel booked for Australia from a courier office in Jhelum. Another parcel booked for Dubai containing 3.4 kg Ice was recovered at a courier office in Karachi. A passenger leaving for Doha through private airline flight at Multan Airport was offloaded and arrested after recovery of 950 gram Ice. Meanwhile, 94 kg hashish was recovered near RCD Road in Lasbela, Balochistan. An accused was arrested at M-I Islamabad after recovery of 48 kg hashish from his possession. In Panjgur 15 kg hashish was recovered while an accused was arrested with 4 kg hashish in Dera Ismail Khan. A parcel containing 2 kg Ice was rounded up in Lahore. Separate cases in all incidents were registered under Drug Act and further investigations against the detainees were underway.
