The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) recovered more than 438 kilogram narcotics and arrested nine drug pushers in 12 anti-narcotics operations conducted across the country. A spokesman of ANF said on Saturday that anti-narcotics operations were conducted in Faisalabad, Chakwal, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Gilgit, Peshawar, Khyber, Kuchlak, Mastung and Panjgur. During the operation, 60 capsules filled with cocaine, 350 narcotic pills have been recovered, while 81 kg of hashish and 66 kg of heroin have also been recovered, he added.

The ANF spokesperson stated that one kilogram of 356 grams of opium and 289 kilograms of morphine were also recovered during the operation. The spokesman further said that separate cases have been registered against the accused under the Anti-Narcotics Act.
