Two drug dealers and a police officer were killed, and a lady constable seriously injured during a joint operation of the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) and police in Nowshera Virkan.According to details, after receiving credible information, an ANF team intercepted a vehicle of drug-dealers near the Titlay Aali area of Sheikhupura Toll Plaza. Instead of stopping the vehicle, the drug dealers opened fire on the AFN team.

ANF team chased the vehicle, and a team from the Police Station Titlay Aali also reached the site. During the exchange of fire, the vehicle of the drug-dealers was overturned as a bullet hit the tyre of the vehicle, after which it burst. During the firing, Constable Driver Ali Faisal embraced martyrdom, and Lady Constable Sadia Mushtaq became critically injured. 

When the firing was stopped police team found the dead bodies of two drug peddlers. Both accused died at the firing of their own accomplices. The dead accused were later identified as Mohammad Awais and Noor Mohammad Khan. Police recovered 81 kilos and 60 grams of hashish and 19 kilograms of opium.
