The Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) foiled drug smuggling bids at Islamabad and Peshawar airports on Friday and arrested two accused with narcotics. The ANF spokesman said that during search of trolley bag of a passenger leaving for Manchester through Pakistan International Airline (PIA) flight PK-705 at Islamabad International Airport, 2990 intoxicate pills were recovered and accused hailing from Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) was arrested. A man with 62 Methamphetamine (Ice) filled and 30 hashish filled capsules in stomach was held at Bacha Khan Airport Peshawar. The detainee hailing from Charsadda was leaving for Doha through flight No. QR-601.
