In a second international interdiction, 13.350 kilograms of methamphetamine concealed in clothes were recovered from a parcel bound for the Philippines at the cargo shed of Jinnah International Airport, Karachi.

In the third operation, carried out near the Tarnol Toll Plaza in Rawalpindi, the ANF recovered 4.800 kilograms of hashish from a female passenger during an inter-provincial check.  The spokesman stated that cases have been registered under the Control of Narcotic Substances Act, 1997, and further investigations are ongoing.
