The Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) arrested six drug peddlers including a woman and recovered 82 kilogram narcotics in countrywide operations. According to the ANF spokesperson, a drug pusher hailing from Bahawalpur, traveling to Qatar via flight No. QR-633 was held at Islamabad International Airport after recovery of 810 gram Ice from his trolley bag. During search of a suspected vehicle near Islamabad Motorway toll plaza, 13.2 kilogram Hashish confiscated in fuel tank was recovered and a drug pusher hailing from district Nowshera of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was arrested.  During search of two passenger vans near Islamabad Motorway toll plaza, three drug peddlers including a woman were arrested and 4.8 kilogram opium was recovered, the spokesperson added. The ANF recovered 1.6 kilogram heroin and 650 gram Ice drug from auto-parts parcels booked for Bahrain at courier office in Karachi.

A passenger hailing from Sheikhupura and leaving for Qatar through flight No. QR-617 at Multan International Airport was arrested after recovery of 1.17 kilogram Ice drug from his trolley bag.  In Chaghi, the ANF during separate actions arrested two drug pushers and recovered 60 kilogram opium was recovered.  The recovered narcotics were seized and detained drug peddlers were being investigated after registering separate cases against them.
