The political office of ex-Interior Minister and head of Awami Muslim League (AML) Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed reopened in historic Lal Haveli. According to details, The Evacuee Trust Property Board has reopened Sheikh Rasheed’s political office in Rawalpindi’s Lal Haveli, a representative of Lal Haveli confirmed. ETPB had earlier sealed 6 units of Lal Haveli, the political headquarters of Sheikh Rasheed.
Justice Mirza Waqas of Lahore High Court Rawalpindi Bench was supposed to hear the application against the sealing of the unit on Tuesday. The petitioner took a position in the application that the abandoned (ETPB also sealed his own property, D-156, adjacent Lal Haveli. The ETPB had de-sealed Unit D 156 on Monday night, and the Petitioner’s lawyers withdrew the petition to declare Lal Haveli de-sealed.
