Amir Muqam warns security situation is worsening fast across KPBreaking

Federal Minister Amir Muqam has said the situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is getting worse, with the province facing serious security problems.Speaking at a press conference in Islamabad alongside other ruling party leaders, Muqam said the law and order situation in the province had deteriorated and that people were afraid to leave their homes.The federal minister also criticised Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, accusing him of leaving his responsibilities and focusing instead on protests and demonstrations.

Amir Muqam warned that if terrorism continued to take hold in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, it would become a threat to the security of the whole country.He said the province was being left without effective governance and alleged that Chief Minister Sohail Afridi was showing neither concern for the people nor seriousness about the problems they faced. The federal minister said Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was suffering from terrorism, while Chief Minister Afridi had been making videos on the streets of Lahore.

Federal Minister Ami Muqam said the rule of law was in everyone's interest and stressed that the province's stability was also important for its political future.Amir Muqam further stated that there was no effective writ of the provincial government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and that conditions were continuing to worsen. The federal minister added that the federal government was concerned about the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa but claimed that the provincial government was not showing the same level of concern.
