Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan and SAFRON, Engineer Amir Muqam directed the Peshawar Electric Supply Company Limited (PESCO) officials to expedite the process of development works and construction of new grid stations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to provide uninterrupted power supply to the consumers.
The PESCO officials including Additional Secretary Power, PESCO Chief and others met with the federal minister at the ministry here, while Additional Secretary Kashmir Affairs Kamran Rehman Khan was also present on the occasion, said a press release. The PESCO officials briefed the federal minister regarding its development projects, ELR, DOP and new grid stations.
The briefing was informed about the progress on several projects, including the construction of a 132 KV grid station in Puran. Amir Muqam directed PESCO authorities to gear up development works and construction of new grids in the province.
