Minister for Communications, Abdul Aleem Khan has vowed to work for the progress and prosperity of Gilgit-Baltistan.Talking to Gilgit Baltistan's former cabinet members in Islamabad , he highlighted the massive tourism potential of the region.

He said Gilgit-Baltistan will be turned into "the Switzerland of Pakistan".On this occasion, the Minister also welcomed former Governor Raja Adil, former Chief Minister Haji Gulbar Khan, and other former ministers upon their joining the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party.
