Nominee for President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Dr. Muhammad Najeeb Naqi Khan, on Thursday visited the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs and met Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry.Member of the National Assembly Chaudhry Naseer Ahmad Abbas Sadhu was also present during the meeting. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry said Dr Muhammad Najeeb Naqi Khan’s nomination from the Poonch Division carried special significance.

He said the nomination reflected the government’s commitment to regional balance and political inclusion. The minister said all areas of Azad Kashmir were being given due importance and representation in the political system. “Taking all regions along is our priority,” he said. Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry said the importance and role of every region of the state was being recognised in the political process.
