AJK PM visits APHC-AJK office, vows support for Kashmir freedom movementBreaking

Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwarul Haq affirmed his commitment to the Kashmiri freedom struggle, asserting that victory will ultimately belong to the struggling Kashmiri people. During his visit to the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter office in Islamabad, today, Haq congratulated the newly elected Hurriyat leadership. He reiterated that all resources of the AJK government will be dedicated to the freedom movement. Haq emphasized the deep connection to Kashmir, pledging to mobilize resources for the freedom of the occupied territory with renewed vigor. He said that the purpose of the visit was to congratulate the new APHC-AJK leadership and to discuss future strategies, including marking August 5, 2024 as Youm-e-Istehsal and observing Indian Independence Day on August 15 as Black Day. Commending the Hurriyat leadership for their impactful rallies in Muzaffarabad, Karachi, and Lahore, Haq highlighted the need for actionable steps over mere dialogue.

He vowed to intensify the freedom struggle both nationally and internationally, stressing that this movement will be taken to its logical end despite Hindutva conspiracies. He also paid tribute to Kashmiri youth martyred by Indian troops. Upon his arrival at the Hurriyat office, AJK PM was warmly welcomed by APHC-AJK convener Ghulam Muhammad Safi and other Hurriyat leaders. Ghulam Mohammad Safi briefed Chaudhry Anwarul Haq on the issues faced by Kashmiri refugees and advocated for their permanent resettlement. Alongside Anwarul Haq, the visit was attended by AJK Information Minister Pir Muhammad Mazhar Saeed Shah and government ministers Chaudhry Arshad, Chaudhry Akbar Ibrahim and Akmal Sargala. APHC-AJK Convener Ghulam Mohammad Safi, General Secretary Advocate Pervaiz Ahmed, Information Secretary Mushtaq Ahmed Butt, Mahmood Ahmed Sagar, Syed Faiz Naqshbandi, Altaf Hussain Wani and others were also present in the meeting.
