Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwaar-ul-Haq has strongly condemned Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), describing him as the "assassin of innocent Kashmiris." According to Kashmir Media Service, in a statement issued in Muzaffarabad, Chaudhry Anwaar-ul-Haq highlighted the Kashmiri people’s rejection of India's so-called development projects, stating that they are "stained with the blood of Kashmiris."
He noted that despite 78 years of oppression, India has failed to suppress the Kashmiri people’s resolve and their unwavering spirit of freedom. The AJK premier emphasized that Kashmiris’ profound love and loyalty to Pakistan are deeply ingrained in their identity and struggle. He urged the international community to take urgent steps to pressure India into granting the Kashmiri people their right to self-determination, as enshrined in United Nations resolutions.
PM Haq also expressed regret over the global community’s silence on the atrocities committed in the occupied valley. He called on world powers to break their inaction, take notice of the ongoing human rights violations, and ensure that the Kashmiri people are granted their inalienable right to freedom. “The day is not far when Kashmiris will achieve their long-awaited freedom, and the dream of a complete Pakistan will be realized,” PM Haq said, concluding his remarks with optimism about the eventual success of the Kashmiri struggle.
