Additional Sessions Judge (West) Afzal Majoka has been appointed as the designated judge for PICA cases. The official order for this appointment was issued by Sessions Judge Azam Khan. According to the office order, all trials related to the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PICA) for Islamabad Sessions West will now be overseen by Judge Majoka. The Ministry of Law issued a notification on July 19, empowering sessions, additional sessions judges, and civil judges to conduct PICA trials. Additionally, the Senior Civil Judge Judicial Magistrate's court has also been designated for PICA cases within their jurisdiction. In the absence of the Additional Sessions Judge or Civil Judge, duty magistrates will handle these cases.
