An accused in police custody was killed in ambushed by accomplices here on Monday. According to details, the police was taking an under custody for recovery when armed men ambushed the police party near Habib Colony Railway crossing in Burewala. Accused Shehzad was killed in firing of accomplices during attempt to free him from police custody. The killed accused had murdered a trader for not paying ransom few days earlier.
