An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Lahore Thursday remanded former police officer Abid Boxer into police custody for seven days in the case of extortion, attack on police, and escape from police custody. Abid Boxer had been arrested from Kasur the other night. Faisal Town police had registered a case against Abid Boxer and others. ATC Judge Abhar Gul Khan heard the case and handed over Abid Boxer to police on seven-day police remand. “Abid Boxer is accused of snatching a Kalashnikov from police,” the investigation officer said.
