The police on Wednesday rescued a six-year-old kidnapped after two months and arrested the abductor. According to details, six-year-old son of Zahid s/o Gul was kidnapped from jurisdiction of City police station in Charsadda on April 20, 2023. DPO Charsadda Muhammad Arif taking the notice directed recovery of the child after which a special team under supervision of SP Investigation Alamzeb Khan and comprising DSP City Jawad Khan, SHO City Behrmand Shah Khan and Investigation Officer Inspector Muneer Khan and others was constituted. The special team after hectic efforts of about two month managed to rescue the abducted child besides arresting the culprit Ashab hailing from Bajaur. The rescued child was handed over to family which lauded the performance of Charsadda police. The nabbed abductor was being investigated.
