Abbottabad Police Thursday have recovered several stolen and missing mobile phones with the help of modern technology and handed them over to their rightful owners.The phones were traced and recovered by the Technical Laboratory established at the Police Headquarters. A ceremony was held at Police Lines Abbottabad where SP Headquarters Malik Suleman handed over the recovered mobile phones to the owners.DSP Cantt Tahir Saleem, Technical Lab In-charge Ijaz Ahmed and members of the technical staff were also present on the occasion.

The citizens expressed happiness over the recovery of their mobile phones and appreciated the police for addressing their complaints and using modern technology to recover stolen and missing valuables.Police officials said efforts to trace and recover stolen and missing mobile phones through the Technical Laboratory were continuing. They said modern technical methods were also being used to recover mobile phones involved in different cases. The police advised citizens to immediately report the theft or loss of mobile phones to the concerned police station and provide the IMEI number to facilitate their tracing and recovery.
