Sindh Transport Department fined 71 inter-city buses for overcharging passengers ahead of Eidul Fitr 2025.According to Sindh Transport Department spox, the action was taken after receiving a number of complaints about overcharging from the passengers. As many as 71 buses were slapped with heavy fines and Rs575,000 overcharging from the passengers were recovered and handed over to them.

The spokesperon further said that Secretary PTA, Okash Khalid Memon took part who himself inquired after passengers about overcharging. The Sindh transport department vowed to provide relief to the passengers and added no one would be allowed to overcharge the passengers under name of eid.
