September 13, 2023

As many as 60,000 bags of urea were seized from the warehouse of a factory on Khapro Road in Mirpurkhas on Wednesday. The raid on the warehouse was carried out by Mirpur Khas Assistant Commissioner (AC) Rashid Meo and their teams on a tip-off by security institutions. The bags of urea fertilizer were seized from the warehouse of the Fatima Fertilizer Agency. The warehouse was sealed thereafter. “We have summoned the concerned persons tomorrow. The situation will be clear after checking the records,” the AC said. “There is a shortage of urea fertilizer, and thousands of sacks of fertilizer cannot be kept in such godowns,” he added. “The urea sacks recovered from the warehouse will be sold at official rate,” he stated.
