Members of the security forces eliminated 24 Indian-sponsored terrorists in two intelligence-based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.As many as 14 terrorists belonging to Indian proxy Fitna al-Khwarij were killed in an intelligence-based operation launched by security forces personnel in Orakzai District. Another 10 terrorists killed in an operation in Khyber District.

According to an ISPR statement released on Friday, on 4-5 February 2026, 24 khwarij belonging to Indian proxy Fitna al-Khwarij were killed in two separate engagements in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. On reported presence of khwarij, an intelligence-based operation was conducted by the security forces personnel in Orakzai District.

During the conduct of the operation, own troops effectively engaged the khwarij location and after an intense fire exchange, 14 khwarij were sent to hell. Another intelligence-based operation by the security forces personnel was conducted in Khyber District. In ensuing fire exchange, 10 more khwarij were effectively neutralised. 

Sanitization operations were being conducted to eliminate any other Indian-sponsored kharji found in the area as relentless Counter Terrorism campaign under vision “Azm e Istehkam” (as approved by Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan) by the security forces and law-enforcement agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out menace of foreign sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.
