The district police during a crackdown arrested 25 drug peddlers during the last 24 hours.According to the police spokesperson here on Wednesday, police carried out a crackdown on drug trafficking in the district and arrested 24 accused including Zubair, Adil, Sadam, Imran, Shaukat, Ashfaq, Parvez, Ibrahim, Waris, Ahmed, etc.

Police seized over 9 kg of hashish worth millions of rupees, 3.5 kg of heroin, 17 kg of bhiki and 123 liters of alcohol from the possession of the suspects. Separate cases were registered against the accused and investigation was started.
