As many as 20 people were injured many of them seriously when a number of vehicles collided with each other at Motorway M-2 near Khankah Dogran in Pindi Bhattian on Monday morning.Soon after receiving the report, Rescue 1122 dispatched six emergency vehicles to the site of the accident and provided first-aid to the nine injured persons on the spot, and later shifted 11 critically injured persons to the hospital.
The Motorway police launched an investigation to try to establish what caused this pile-up. Earlier, on February 10, 2026, two people were killed, and two others were wounded when a car hit a roadside pole near Pindi Bhattian. According to details, the accident occurred on the Sargodha Road, where the driver of the car lost control of the vehicle after its tire burst and skidded off the road and hit a roadside pole, killing two persons on the spot and injuring two others.
The dead and injured, residents of Noori Gate, Sargodha, were returning home after attending a marriage ceremony. Police and rescue teams reached the spot after being informed and shifted the dead and injured to the hospital.
