20 dacoits sweep Karachi factory in night-long robberyBreaking

Up to 20 armed dacoits stormed into a factory in the Bin Qasim area of Karachi and looted machinery, batteries and solar systems worth millions of rupees, police said on Wednesday. The owner of the company, Engr Ghulam Haider, said that the accused had loaded machinery, batteries and solar systems worth millions of rupees onto the vehicles and fled away. “The accused continued looting valuables at the factory from 11 pm to 5 am. The Steel Town police did not come. Phone calls to Madadgar 15 were also not responded to,” he added.

“The accused beat up the guards of the factory and locked them up. They continued loading the equipment onto their vehicles throughout the night,” he stated. The theft was carried out at a company called “Insite Engineering Rental Power”. The company is located in Steel Town, Bin Qasim. “On reaching here in the morning, I came to know about the incident. The police were not registering a case,” the owner of the factory said.
