14-year-old boy shot dead in firing between rival groups in LahoreBreaking

A 14-year-old passerby boy was shot dead in a shootout between two rival groups in Shahdara area of Lahore on Tuesday. According to police, injured Ahsan was shifted to a hospital for treatment but he succumbed to his injuries. The firing incident took place near Lajpat Road at Muhammad Chowk in Shahdara. The police took the body in custody and started the investigation. The police collected evidence from the spot with the help of forensics. The deceased Ahsan worked as a hairdresser, police said. Uncle of slain Ahsan said that we don't have any enmity with anyone. He said his nephew was passing by and got hit by bullet. The deceased father said that with his son Ahsan, he reached Lajpat Road to buy grocery for home where a fight broke out between the armed gangs of Faheem and Bilal Gujjar on Lajpat Road. My son was hit by the fire of Zibi Butt and after receiving bullet injuries, his son fell down and his other sons, Asim and Shani, who were with him, were taken Ahsan to the hospital, the deceased's father said.

Deceased Ahsan’s father appealed the Chief Minister to provide justice. However, police registered a case on the complaint of Ahsan's father. Zuhaib alias Zebi Butt, Arif, Ahsan and Ali and 5 to 6 unknown armed accused have been named in the case. After the incident, the accused fled from the spot and locked their houses, police sources said. Meanwhile, Data Darbar Dolphin Squad has arrested an injured dacoit after an encounter late at night. According to Dolphin spokesperson the accused robbed a citizen near Darbar and the robbers seeing the dolphin team, escaped firing on the spot. The Dolphin team rounded up the accused near Peer Makki Darbar where accused hid in the park adjacent to Darbar. However, one of the accused escaped by taking advantage of the darkness. The accused who was arrested was slightly injured by the firing of his own accomplice. The local police are busy investigating and the injured robber was shifted to Mayo Hospital.
