The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) recovered 137 kg of drugs and arrested 3 accused including a woman in eight countrywide operations against drug trafficking. According to the ANF spokesperson on Saturday, 3 kg 600 grams of hashish was recovered from an accused resident of Karachi in Dera Ghazi Khan. The accused was smuggling drugs from Quetta to Punjab. A woman, a resident of Okara, was arrested at Allama Iqbal Airport. She was preparing to board flight QR-621 bound for Doha. During the search, law enforcement officials discovered 59 capsules containing heroin and ice in her possession, suggesting international drug trafficking connections. A significant find occurred in the Kalibatizai area of Pishin, where ANF agents uncovered a staggering 85 kilograms of heroin and 10 kilograms of ice hidden within a house. An additional 26 kilograms of ice were discovered in a separate house near Turbat. These drug caches had been carefully concealed, emphasizing the sophistication of drug trafficking networks.

In a separate case, 2 kilograms of crystals were recovered from an individual who hailed from Chagai and was en route from Quetta to Sukkur. The ANF's operations also led to the discovery of 10 kilograms of hashish, concealed for smuggling, in an uninhabited area of Zakhakhel Khyber. All accused individuals have had cases registered against them under the Anti-Narcotics Act, and further investigations are now underway. The ANF's relentless efforts in combating drug trafficking continue to disrupt these illegal networks, contributing to a safer environment in Pakistan.
