The Airport Security Force (ASF) personnel on Thursday seized 1.16kg of heroin from a passenger during search at Islamabad Airport. According to an ASF spokesperson, the ASF personnel recovered 1.16kg of ice heroin from the handbag of a Doha-bound passenger named Amjad Ali. The accused had hidden the heroin very skillfully in the handbag. However, the ASF personnel foiled the smuggling bid by recovering the drug while searching the goods, he said. He was handed over to the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) authorities for further legal action," he added.
