104 new dengue cases reported in IslamabadBreaking

The spread of dengue seems to have gone out of control in Islamabad, for the city has reported 104 new cases during the last 24 hours on Sunday. According to the District Health Officer (DHO), 56 new cases of dengue were reported in urban areas, whereas, 48 cases were reported in rural areas. With 104 new cases, the number of total dengue cases has risen to 1,923, causing total cases in rural areas to reach 1,150 and those in urban areas to reach 773. So far, six people have died due to dengue. The number of dengue cases in Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) is 292. There are at least 80 people under-treatment in the Polyclinic Hospital, whereas, the number of patients who are under-treatment in the Capital
Hospital is 40.
