Ten Khwarij belonging to Indian-sponsored Fitna-Al-Khwarij were killed in two separate engagements in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province. According to ISPR, in first encounter, a group of Khwarij belonging to Indian Proxy, Fitna Al Khwarij attempted to attack Security Forces Check Posts in general area Azam Warsak, South Waziristan District. The attempt was effectively thwarted by own troops. During ensuing fire exchange, eight khwarij were sent to hell through effective and precise engagements by own troops. In another encounter that took place in Dir District, own troops successfully neutralised two more khwarij. Weapons and ammunition have also been recovered from killed Indian sponsored khwarij, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area.

Sanitisation operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Kharji found in the area, as relentless Counter Terrorism campaign under vision “Azm e Istehkam” (as approved by Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan) by Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country. Meanwhile, Security forces have killed eight to 10 militants during Operation Radd-ul-Fitnah 3 in the Kambela and Asimabad areas on the outskirts of Quetta, according to officials.

The security forces carried out a search and sanitisation operation, clearing 68 square kilometres of the area during the operation. Officials said two militant bodies were recovered, while three to four militants, including commander Shaukat Mama, were injured. Security personnel also detained 12 suspects during the operation. According to the statement, the forces destroyed suspected militant hideouts and removed flags associated with Fitna al-Hindustan during the operation. Security officials said Operation Radd-ul-Fitnah 3 will continue with full force until militancy is completely eradicated.
