The University of Gwadar has awarded scholarships to 39 students under the second phase of the Chinese Consulate General’s Scholarship program, which covers full tuition fees for four years. Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir and Pro Vice Chancellor Professor Syed Manzoor Ahmed distributed the award letters during a ceremony held at the university’s seminar hall, Gwadar Pro reported quoting a statement issued by the university.

Addressing the ceremony, Dr. Sabir congratulated the students and urged them to make full use of the opportunity through hard work, discipline and academic excellence. He said such initiatives help remove financial barriers and prepare future leaders who can contribute to the development of Gwadar, Balochistan and Pakistan.

He also thanked the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China for its continued support for education in the region, saying the initiative reflected the longstanding partnership and friendship between Pakistan and China.

Professor Syed Manzoor Ahmed appreciated Chinese Consul General Yang Yundong for supporting educational development and expressed hope that cooperation and financial assistance for students from Gwadar and Balochistan would continue in the future.
