The University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) and Chinese partners on signed agreements to establish two new subsets of the Confucius Institute at Faisalabad Medical University (FMU) and the University of Poonch Rawalakot.
It marks another step forward in Pakistan-China educational and cultural cooperation under the second phase of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), reports Gwadar Pro.
The agreements were signed during a ceremony attended by Chinese Consul General Sun Yan.
In his speech on the occasion, he said agricultural cooperation remains the central focus of CPEC’s next phase, alongside industry, information technology, mining, innovation, and green development.
