Province-wide events in Punjab highlight Pakistan-China diplomatic relationsBreaking

Acting on the directions of the Higher Education Department, Government of Punjab, colleges and schools across the province have organized a series of academic and co-curricular activities to mark 75 years of Pakistan-China diplomatic relations.

The province-wide initiative drew active participation from male and female students and teachers, reflecting broad engagement in promoting the longstanding bilateral friendship. 

According to a Gwadar Pro's repor on Saturday, at Government Graduate College for Women, Kot Radha Kishen in Kasur, students took part in commemorative coin and stamp design competitions, with Sadaf Mustafa and Alina Akhtar securing top district positions.

A quiz competition on Pakistan-China relations was held at Government Graduate College for Women, Shah Rukn-e-Alam in Multan, where BS Political Science and first-year students participated under the supervision of faculty members.

In Bhakkar, Government Graduate College for Women hosted an inter-female collegiate district-level coin and stamp drawing competition, bringing together participants from multiple colleges.

At Government Graduate College for Women, Chandni Chowk in Sargodha, Fine Arts students organized a stamp and coin painting competition that depicted symbols of bilateral friendship.

In Muzaffargarh, Government Graduate College hosted a painting competition on commemorative stamp and coin design, with participation from several institutions, including women’s colleges from Muzaffargarh, Kot Addu, Alipur and Rangpur. Students secured top positions in both stamp and coin categories.

At Government Graduate College for Women, Chak Jhumra in Faisalabad, activities included poster exhibitions, a solidarity walk and quiz preparations.

District-level competitions were also held at Government Graduate College in Joharabad, Khushab, with participation from colleges across the district.

Other institutions, including GACW Guliana in Gujrat, Govt Ibne Ameer Graduate College Women Jalal Pur Jattan, Govt Graduate College Women Saifabad Faisalabad, Govt Associate College for Women Dhoke Mangtal in Rawalpindi, Government Graduate College Darya Khan and Government Graduate College for Women Baddomalhi, organized activities such as quizzes, essay writing, coin and stamp design, and awareness sessions.

The celebrations are continuing across the province, with more events planned in the coming days to further engage youth and reinforce the spirit of Pak-China friendship.
