Government of Pakistan, officials, political parties, government and non-governmental organizations have sent congratulatory messages to the Chinese people on the occasion of 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC). The people of Pakistan deeply appreciated the role of CPC, the visionary and determined leadership of President Xi Jinping under which China has made tremendous achievements in all domains. They believed that China’s notion that no country will be left behind has earned China respect and trustworthiness and the decisions of the 20th Congress will inject new strength into CPC.

Talking to Gwadar Pro Muhammad Mudassir Tipu, Acting Additional Secretary at Foreign Office of Pakistan said that the 20th CPC National Congress is of great significance for China and is likely to take some vital decisions to promote China’s national interests and its strategic priorities. “The meeting, held every five years, has played a crucial role in solidifying China and its institutions,” he added. Earlier In a congratulatory message, Pakistan Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari affirmed that throughout its history, the CPC had made enormous contributions to the progress and prosperity of the Chinese nation and to global peace.

He said, “I am confident that under the wise leadership of the Chinese Communist Party, China will continue to play its due role in international politics and for global peace.” In a special note on Twitter, the Chinese Embassy in Pakistan showed their gratitude to receive congratulatory messages from the people of Pakistan. The message stated, “On the special occasion of the 20th National Congress of the CPC, it is our gratitude to receive congratulatory messages from Pakistan’s leaders, parties and organizations, which once again showcased the cross-party consensus of developing China-Pakistan friendship.” “On the way towards modernization, China’s development will bring more opportunities to the world.

We will always prioritize cooperation with Pakistan, safeguard common interests, and work hand in hand to build a closer community with a shared future with our iron-brother,” the note added. On Sunday 16th October 2022, around 2200 CPC delegates representing 96.7 Mn Party members gather at the Great Hall of the People for the 20th CPC National Congress. General Secretary Xi Jinping gave a report to 20th CPC National Congress on behalf of the 19th CPC Central Committee. In the report to the 20th National Congress of the CPC, President Xi stressed that China is committed to promoting high-standard opening up and building a community with a shared future for mankind.
