A delegation of 20 students from Electrical Engineering Department of National University of Computer & Emerging Sciences, Islamabad and their 2 professors namely Dr. Muhammad Saeed and Dr. Muhammad Awais Ayub visited the site of 720 MW Karot Hydropower Project under China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) as an educational industrial visit. According to the details, they visited the Karot Site Office and there they were welcomed by ACEO CSAIL, Mr. Liu Yonggang in the Conference Room 101 of Karot Site Office. After introduction of all participants, Mr. Rehan Haider, DGM Admin. CSAIL gave an introduction of CSAIL and Karot Hydropower Project through a brief presentation.

After a brief discussion on the various aspects of the project, a brief induction training on site safety was given to them by Mr. Ansar Abbas, Manager HSE KHP (O&M) and M. Aftab Alam, Sr. Manager HSE KPCL. Thereafter, an introductory video of China Three Gorges South Asia Investment Ltd (CSAIL) was shown and a group photo was taken and souvenirs were exchanged between CSAIL / KPCL and NUCES. Then the delegation had lunch with CSAIL and KPCL teams. The visitors were also taken for a site visit of Karot Project, under the supervision of HSE Team, where they were informed regarding the important components of the projects and its various operation and maintenance aspects and characteristics.

Mr. Ahsan Mumtaz of KPCL Administration Department provided full support for entry of the guests from Army Check Post and captured the pictures of the whole event throughout the visit. CSAIL, KPCL and KHP (O&M) Teams provided briefings and detailed answers to the various queries to the visitors throughout their site visit. The whole event was a complete success, and it was highly appreciated by the honorable guests and they thanked and invited the management of CSAIL, KPCL and KHP (O&M) to visit their university in future for various events and hoped that the visit would be a first step towards a long and close collaborative relationship between the two institutions in future.
