Pakistan China Vocational and Technical Institute (PCV&TI) has announced to send its faculty members (lecturers and instructors) to China for a 6-month training program in March this year. Shandong Institute of Commerce and Technology, which is among the four stakeholders of the Institute will host the visiting faculty, according to a report published by Gwadar Pro on Monday. Last month the Institute had hired the services of 16 teachers in fields of Maritime Business and Port Management, Software/ Information Technology, E-commerce, Tourism and Hotel Management, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical engineering, English, Mathmatics, Statistics and Chinese language. The first executive body meeting of PCV&TI held last month had approved the operational roadmap of the institute. Moreover, the federal government has also released a budget of Rs 240 million for the fiscal year 2023-24 to facilitate the operation of the institute.  The institute after gaining its optimal capacity will generate jobs  in addition to yielding of technical and professional experts from the local community.
