The Chinese Embassy here has concluded a five-day charity medical programme in collaboration with a well-known local Chinese hospital, marking the 75th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two countries.

The programme, held from March 30 to April 3 in partnership with the Qihuang Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Centre.

It provided free routine physical examinations and health consultations to more than 200 Chinese expatriates and Pakistani friends, the embassy said in a statement, according to Gwadar Pro.

"The programme was intended to promote traditional Chinese medical practices and support the welfare of the Chinese community living in Pakistan," the embassy said.

The event is one of a series of activities planned to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the China-Pakistan diplomatic relationship.

The embassy said the programme was well received by both the Chinese diaspora and Pakistani attendees.
