The University of Peshawar hosted a Chinese arts exhibition and competition to mark the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China and promote cultural exchange. The event, held at the university’s New Academic Block, was jointly organized by the China Study Centre (CSC) and the Department of Arts and Design at the University of Peshawar.
Students and faculty members attended and viewed artworks created by students, Gwadar Pro reported on Thursday. Participants from the Department of Fine Arts presented paintings, calligraphy, and ceramic pieces inspired by traditional Chinese motifs.
Some works combined Chinese artistic elements with Pakistani cultural themes, reflecting the cultural exchange between the two countries. Organizers said the event aimed to encourage cross-cultural understanding through art and highlight people-to-people connections between Pakistan and China.
