BEIJING, August 27 (INP): China strongly condemns the terrorist attacks in Pakistan and will continue to firmly support the country in advancing counter-terrorism operations. This was stated by Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian here at a press briefing on Tuesday. He made the statement in response to a media query on report about terrorist attacks staged in southwestern Parkistan's Balochistan Province on Sunday night and Monday morning, killing at least 23 people. The spokesperson said, " We strongly condemn the terrorist attacks and express our deep condolences over the lives lost. China stands firm against all forms of terrorism. We will continue giving staunch support to Pakistan in their effort to advance counterterrorism operations, uphold social solidarity and stability, and protect the safety of the people.  China stands ready to further enhance counterterrorism and security cooperation with Pakistan and jointly safeguard peace and security in the region."
